Deletion of old site

I had/ve a site with the address of myndrover.wordpress.com that I first started blogging on and is apparently tied to my txmyndrover.wordpress.com account. If I go to the myndrover.wordpress.com site and click on ‘My Sites’ it takes me to my txmyndrover account, yet from there I cannot switch to the myndrover site. I discovered this cross-up when I got more serious about doing a blog and tried to do another post but couldn’t find the page, so I started over.

When I tried to change my username to myndrover, that’s when I knew something was wrong because it said it was already taken. I would really like to delete the myndrover.wordpress.com site. If I haven’t confused you, can you tell me what to do to get rid of the myndrover.wordpress.com site? I’m assuming if I try to change my account from txmyndrover to myndrover that I will lose all of my current posts and settings?

Thanks in advance for your help,
    Barbara E Taylor (aka BarbaraCT)

You cannot delete any site https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ that you cannot access as the Admin under the username account that registered the site, and you have changed your username and cannot change it back. https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/

Please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

I don’t have any of the information proving ownership for the recovery, but that is not the issue. I guess I wasn’t wording it right, and didn’t fully understand what was going on (I still don’t).

myndrover.wordpress.com (Myndrover’s Ramblings) can be accessed by that url, but when I go to “My Sites” to add a post or change anything, it goes to my dashboard for txmyndrover.wordpress.com. However, the myndrover.wordpress.com does not show up on my list of sites. How can I make it show up on my txmyndrover dashboard?

I’m confused as to how this happened. I used to have another account (ozmyndrover.wordpress.com) but I had emptied it and deleted that account before I started the Myndrover’s Ramblings. When I went back after a few weeks to make another post, I couldn’t find Myndrover’s Ramblings (except on Google) but the ozmyndrover account had shown back up. I deleted it yet again and just started all over with the existing txmyndrover account.
