Deletion of website

    Hi there,

    Could you help me. I’m trying to delete my websites but it tells me that I have purchases that need to be managed before deletion. From here, I get confused. Could you guide me and tell me how to complete the process of deleting my websites.

    I’m tagging this thread for Staff help with the modlook tag. Staff need to know if you want to retain the domain URL and use it on another site or not? They need to know that prior to proceeding with the cancellation.

    Information:
    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.     When you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade what do you see in these two locations please?

    @jprlumsden I can see you do not have any purchases, but another user associated with the site does.

    You can see other site users at wordpress.com/people — would you look there, then have the one that owns the upgrade log in and manage the upgrade? From there the site owner can remove the site.
