Deletions – how?

  My blog is http://zkwriter.wordpress.com. I’m wondering how to delete the “Edit this entry” from the bottom of each page (I’m using my blog as a website). Also, how to delete or hide the Comment boxes from the bottom of each page. thanks!

  You can close comments by going to Settings>Discussion. Nobody but you sees Edit this Entry and only when you’re signed in (unless you’re viewing a cached copy.)

  Thanks, but I can’t figure out how to close the comments. I tried unchecking “allow people to post comments” but that did not change anything.

  If I remember well, unchecking “allow people to post comments” in Settings>Discussion won’t affect pages already published. You need to uncheck the Allow Comments and Pings options in the page editor. Don’t forget to click Update Page after that.

  Where in the page editor does it allow you to do that? Sorry if this is super-dumb questions….

  “Discussion” module. If you can’t see that in your page editor screen, click “Screen Options” (top right) to activate it.
