Delineation of header from text below
-
Is there a way to add a line or bar or something to offset my header photo from what is below on the website? Otherwise it looks like my most recent blog post is the title for the header/photo directly above it. My solution for that confusion so far has been to put my website name (Karin Nelson Art) as text in that top header photo; but that means it’s now listed twice, because it’s also in the Title. (I hope I explained this properly.) :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Give this a try and see what you think.
.content-area { border-top: 2px solid #ccc; } .content-area, .widget-area { margin-top: 10px !important; } -
Thank you so much, @thesacredpath. I hate to say it, but I don’t even know where to paste it. I’m clueless about CSS; the Support person sent me over here, kind of like sending a kindergartener to med school, haha! Maybe it wasn’t such a great idea. But I sure appreciate your investment of time into this.

Just copy the snippet above and paste it in the customizer, which you can find here:
https://knelsonart.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php- Click on the tab with the text: CSS.
- Paste the snippet in the text box.
- Click on “Save & Publish” in the top of your screen.
Hope this helps! :)

Yes, that did the trick, and I like the results. Thanks so much, michaelvandenberg and thesacredpath! It’s making me smile this morning…knowing there are such nice people out there who are willing to take their time to help others. :) Have a wonderful day!
