Deploy only a single page from stage site to live site

    I’m trying to deploy only a single page from my stage site to the live site. How can I accomplish this?

    Hi,

    If I understand your goal correctly, then I believe the easiest way might be to copy and paste — that is, copy the page content from page editor on the stage site and paste it into the editor of a new page on the live site. Then add the title, and adjust any settings that need adjustment. You could also Export a single page as an XML file, using the date or status options at the Export page to limit the export to that one page (for example, by making it the only page in “pending” status), and then Import the XML file to the live site.

    I’ll call for staff attention to see if they have any other suggestions. Staff will respond here.

    Sorry, I somehow messed up on both links. Please ignore them. Here’s the last part with the links corrected, directing you to the Export and Import support pages, respectively.

    @joshpesglobalorg I may be reading the question differently. If you just want one public page while the rest of the site is private:

    – On our services, make all of the pages private, except the one you want to use. Make that the home page (or not, if you’re handing out a link).

    – For sites not hosted here, or if you have a Business Plan or higher, you can use a Maintenance / Coming Soon plugin to make the entire site private except the front page. And then, just configure that page to your liking.

    Going forward, these forums are primarily for sites that use our free-tier hosting. We’re a little different from the WordPress software itself:
