  Is it possible to have more than 3 posts on the front page, using this template?

  Can I limit the size of the post, so it breaks with a read more?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  2: Yes (http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/ ). But DePo Masthead is unusual: instead of a Read More link right where the text breaks off, you get a notice in the red Comment tab (becomes “Read more and comment).
