hola,
cambié mi nombre de wordpress: antes era [redacted by staff] y ahora lo puse todo como [redacted by staff].Aun así si pongo [redacted by staff] en el buscador de google, me aparece como primeros resultados el [redacted by staff] de wordpress, con toda mi información… [redacted by staff]
Me gustaría esconder mi nombre real en internet, y esto hace que siga delantándome solo con poner mi nombre en google.. .
¿Cómo puedo hacer para que sea solo como [redacted by staff] y desaparezca de todas partes el de [redacted by staff]?gracias!!

How long ago did you make the change? It can take Google a few weeks to index changes like that.

Per our community guidelines, we don’t delete threads unless there is a privacy concern with the content within the thread. Let me know if there something in the thread that you want to delete.

hello! yes i would like to delete my message as I talk about my past name and actually that is the reason i wanted to make the name disappear from google search, so the message itself i posted here go against the question i had..
I mean that would be great if i can delete the post, as i thought i could do that after getting an answer. to preserve my privacy..

thanks.. it is weird for me to publish a post and then to not be able to delete all my personal information, considering what i was asking is an information which i would like to preserve my privacy..

We have removed your full name from the original post.
If you don’t want your picture to appear you can remove that from your WordPress.com profile at https://wordpress.com/me/
And if you used your real name as your username, you can change that from the account settings at https://wordpress.com/me/account/
But your username is always public – we don’t select that for you, you choose what you want the username to be – and if you choose to upload a profile picture that is also always public. We don’t delete forum threads for containing information that is already public, and which you can change whenever you want.

thanks for the answer. i’ve read if i change my username i can’t change it back, so i prefer to keep it as it is.. But it is the first time I find that I post something myself online and i’m not able to delete it, which is an uncomfortable situation due to privacy issues.. -

Correct
But, it would be public if you used it later, too. So, if you don’t want this name to appear, you will need to change it.
