Descriptive Sidebar in one of my posts

    Hi, I just really really need to add a side bar on the side of one of my posts. It is an article about an iditarod racer and I would like to put a little information box on the side of the post with info about the iditarod and it’s course details. is there any way i can do this since I am a basic member and not premium. I have the isola theme.

    Does anyone know how to solve this problem?? I have to have my paper in by Monday and I really really want this sidebar!

    Here is the code I have written, can I just place it in my text area? When i do that it just is placed as normal text in my article

    Hi there. You can simply add a text widget to your sidebar under Appearance ->Widgets on the dashboard and then paste the information directly into that widget. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/

    Make sure that you copy the information from the text editor, not the visual editor, so that you insert it into the text widget with all the html code, otherwise it will not display correctly.
