  Do you need to unsubscribe from emails you’re receiving, or do you want to remove your account?

  You can block all WordPress.com email by checking the box next to “Block Emails” in your email delivery settings. There’s a link at the bottom of each subscription email, or you can log in and update your settings here:

  If you wanted to get rid of the account, you can change your email to a throwaway address, then change your password so you are locked out permanently. We will not be able to give it back

  Or, you can simply leave the account inactive until you’d like to use it again for any of our services.
