Design a mess on mobile

Hello,
I have put together a website that I am happy with, however when switching over to viewing to a mobile device the website just looks a mess and its horrible to access!
The problems are mainly with my homepage:
– The first title is “Whats your story” on mobile it reads “Story?”
-The actual logo seems to be very squashed and distorted on mobile
-The navigation on the mobile is extremely short! (I know thats probably because of text size vs screen size.) Can you suggest a cleaner design alternative for this? If not don’t worry the main two concerns are the logo and title on the homepage.*If you look at my website on a computer then look at on a mobile device you will instantly see the problems and difference I’m talking about.

The mobile ready theme is a default theme and a completely different theme that you do not need to enable if your theme is listed as a responsive layout theme here https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/responsive-layout/
The mobile default theme is provided for those who run older themes that aren’t the gold standard which is responsive layout.
A responsive layout theme adapts to different screen sizes so that your website will work (and be optimized for) iPhones, iPads, Android and other mobile devices. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.
When we use a responsive theme we disable the mobile theme. Go to >Dashboard > Appearance > Mobile and disable the mobile theme

I understand about the default themes etc. I’m asking you to help me out with a problem. My logo seems very squashed and distorted only on the mobile version – how can I resolve this?
