design full website – ??wordpress or dreamweaver first?

    Please help. I am just starting to design a full website for someone who wants to include a wordpress blog.
    1. I thought it would make sense to do the whole site through wordpress…. yes?
    2. Should I start out learning how to do this in wordpress or just design the site in dreamweaver and then move everything?

    I want the benefit of using wordpress as a cms but right now I am very conflicted about where to start…. so time is ticking away.

    Any suggestions on where to begin as well as books or resources that will help me get started from the ground up would be appreciated!!!

    It depends. Read the sticky post at the top of the forum on the difference between WP.com and WP.org. If you want to use WP as a CMS then you’re in the wrong forum and need to be at the .org site. They will in all likelihood tell you to can Dreamweaver and just use WP.
