Design Tools are not loading under the customize page!

I have the theme Ryu, and i am trying to customize it’s home page back to show ‘latest posts’ rather than a static page. However, every time I go under the ‘customize’ option, it doesn’t load the design tools to change my home page settings. It has been like this for over a week and now any time someone visits my page, the first thing they see is “Oops! that page cannot be found!” and I really wouldnt like for them to see this any more.
