Design without a domain

  I would like to design a web site using WordPress before I associate with a domain as I have never designed one before so I’m learning. Once designed I can then associate with a domain name and list it when I’m ready. Is this possible?

  Hi there!

  Sure thing, you can create a free site using a free subdomain (make sure you choose one ending with .wordpress.com or .home.blog – you’ll see it says free right next to it).
  You can then upgrade and register, map or transfer a custom domain whenever you’re ready.
