Design without domain

    Hi, we already have a website running with another host but I want to design another website in wordpress that will replace our currant website. Can I design the website first and then apply our domain name to it. Obviously I don’t want o transfer the domain name now because I don’t want not to have a website and store for our business while I am designing the new one

    Hi, no problem. You’re welcome to create your new site with us before pointing the domain here. That way your current site can stay “live” until your new one is ready.

    I do recommend getting a plan earlier on if you’ll need it, since they have other features you might find useful, including direct support:
    https://wordpress.com/plans

    Then just avoid using the domain options until you’re ready, and then you can map or transfer the domain.
