  Can anyone help me design my WordPress blog? I’m struggling badly

  Hi there!

  First of all, you’ll want to confirm your email address so that everything works correctly. Check your inbox for the account activation email and follow the instructions inside.

  As for the site design, I suggest you take a look at this page: https://wordpress.com/learn/

  Remember that each theme needs to be set up. If you’d like to get the same look as the theme’s demo page, you’ll want to follow the instructions from the theme page.

  On your site, you’re using theme Dara. To set it up, you’ll want to follow these steps:

  Hi,
  Thanks for your help. But I’m still having difficulty. This is the first time I’m using wordpress or even designing a site, so I’m at a total loss.

  First, I don’t understand many terms, eg. widget and so on🙈
  I know how I want my site designed, but I don’t know how to do it.

  Beginner’s problems…………………

  It’s probably best if you go through the beginner resources here:

  Most people stick with the default theme to start, because messing with themes can be complicated. Why not poke around with some of the basics first, and then when you’ve got a good idea how things work, you’ll be better able to make decisions like what theme you want. If you don’t know what a widget is, for instance, you don’t know if you need it.
