Designing a Menu with Working Links on It

  Hi There, I am trying to create a Menu (entitled Published Works) on my WordPress webpage with all of my links to my website articles. I am trying to use the ‘Customize’ bar and the Menu options on there. I have a list of my pieces, and a description of them, but when I try to make a customized URL link, it just takes me to WordPress ‘Aside’ page. Anyone know how to help me?
