Desktop application not working

Hi,
Since yesterday the wordpress destop application is not working properly. When it starts after several seconds it becomes static and nothing could be done. After that appears that there is some error.
Would you please advise whether you have any technical issues at the moment with the desktop application.

Hi,
The problem is that when I go to Themes – Settings it starts to load the customizer and just after that all goes white and I cannot do anything but to close the application. This happens only when I try to use the Themes – settings. All other menus work just fine for now.
Some days before it was giving an error now is only the white screen with nothing to o done.
The windows desktop is working just fine. No issues there.

Can you please check for me what version of the app you’re using? It will be under Help ->About in the app menu. And what version of Windows do you have, in case that’s a factor we need to look into?
Just to confirm, this is when you click the Customize button, correct? Can you check for me what happens if you go to My Site ->Themes, click the three dots (…) that appears in the bottom corner of the theme thumbnail, and select the Try and Customize option?
(Note, if the Customizer starts loading the moment you open the app, click on Window ->My Sites or press Ctrl-1)
If possible, can you see if this happens on a different connection, or if not at least try unplugging your modem/router for a few seconds to reset your connection. I’ve found the Customizer in the app sometimes won’t load correctly if my connection is having problems.
Let me know the results.

Hi,
The version is 1.8.0. My windows is 7 Home premium 64 bit system.
Now I have the following error when strated the app “WordPress.com ran into an error! (code NaN)”.
After quiting the app and restarting it now it works fine and when I go to Themes – Settings I am able to customize and all works good.
I am also wondering whether the connection could be the problem as before there were no issues at all with the app. I will check with the provider whether there are any issues with the connection these days.Thank you once again for the support.
I will keep you posted in case some issues emerge again.
