Desktop width in block editor is too narrow

    Howdy…

    I am still learning to adapt to the block editor after years with the classic editor, so please forgive this painfully noob question.

    I am setting up a one page site for a client using the Farrow theme. While editing the page in the block editor, the desktop preview looks way too narrow. I doubt that I can properly edit the page in this view.

    If I preview the page in a new tab, the page looks normal.

    Is there a way to change the width of the preview in the block editor to something more usable?

    Hi there,

    This issue is one that affects many site owners using the Cover Block within pag layouts, where the width is not displayed correctly in the editor. This has been reported to our developers who are investigating a fix, but for the time being we do not have a workaround to restore the width while the root cause is addressed.

    We don’t have a timeline for when this will be fixed but we’re happy to update you here in this post. In the meantime you can periodically preview your work to see how it will look on the live site.
