desperate! need domain unlocked, but domain does not show up in dashboard!

    HELP! I registered a domain name (muddpuppycosmetics.com) through WordPress last May. It expires in 2 days. I have been trying unsuccessfully for months to get help getting this domain name transferred… The domain name DOES NOT APPEAR IN MY DASHBOARD AT ALL! It did several months ago with no problem and I was able to change the nameservers to have the site hosted elsewhere.

    I HAVE READ AND FOLLOWED ALL INSTRUCTIONS FOR TRANSFERRING DOMAINS!

    They do not work because there is no “Domain Administration” link. Probably because the muddpuppycosmetics.com domain does not appear at all in my dashboard.

    I need someone from WordPress to either unlock my domain for me and send me the authorization code (to (email visible only to moderators and staff)) so our business’s site does not have disappear by the end of the week and help me figure this out.

    I need to get this transfer made (all ready at the new registrar, just need the domain unlocked and the auth code) in the next 36-48hr!

    Are you logged in as the same account that purchased the domain name? Many people have more than one account and forget which account was used to purchase a particular upgrade.

    I have also flagged this for staff attention.

    You’ll need to log in as the owner of the domain, marcydefault, in order to transfer it.

    yup. I have two dashboards under my username and password, and it is not showing up on either of them. On my main dashboard ( denimndaisies.wordpress.com ) I do have a list of domains, but it is only the denimndaisies listed. On the marcydefault dashboard I don’t even have a link to the domain page under the settings tab.

    Yes, those are two different blogs, but you’ll actually need to log in to WordPress.com as marcydefault, not smurfytxmom, to see the transfer options.
