Desperately need help: deleted blog domain map

  Hi all,

  I know that there is no way to recover a deleted blog.

  I used to have a blog at charleneprecious.com/blog, which was under my account at charleneprecious.wordpress.com (I just learned this after going through this traumatic experience.)

  I wanted to create another wordpress site on charleneprecious.com and along the way, played with domain mapping, and deleted charleneprecious.wordpress.com, thinking that I was doing all the right things to get there.

  Now my domain is mapped to a deleted blog and I don’t know how to fix it.

  I have three questions:

  1. Can I unmap my domain from the deleted blog? If so, how? My host is Go Daddy

  2. The contents of my deleted blog – is it all backed up on my ftp? Including stylesheets, index, all the coding? And my images? There are so many folders, I don’t know which to download and backup on my local drive.

  3. Is my best solution to simply register a new wordpress blog, perhaps charlenepreciousphotography.wordpress.com amd re-install WP on both charleneprecious.com and charleneprecious.com/blog, and ask WP to remap my domain name?

  I sincerely appreciate any help that you guys can give me. I am about to burst into tears here.
