Destructive ads

Dear friends!
I am using the free service your offer and therefore I am totally aware I cannot complain about ads being displayed in my si te. However, I do not really understand why the ads must be displayed in ways that totally break the layout: large vertical ads which do not float and leave huge empty spaces, multiple ads that completely destroy the homepage layout, etc.
Please consider showing ads in a less destructive way… even for us who spend our time trying to helps others with our blogs (in my case it is a language blog) but are not willing to spend money since we do not expect to monetize our work.
