Detach wordpress from domain

I have tried detaching WordPress from the domain I own, and it still won’t work. I don’t have the option to click ‘Detach’ because I deleted the WordPress site. Prior my deletion, it still didn’t allow that option because I cancelled my paid subscription. Can someone help please? I just need to detach from WordPress.

Hi there – I see you may have at one point connected the domain marketing214.com to a site here at WordPress.com. Is that the domain you are referring to? If so, I have a couple of other questions for you.
If that’s the right domain, I can confirm that it is no longer connected to WordPress.com. Here is an example what I see at that domain: https://d.pr/i/oqeMSO — are you seeing something different? If you are, it could be your web browser cache. Try clearing it, restarting your browser, and trying again. And try from a second web browser as well.
Just as well, it doesn’t look like you had the site for long. I’m bummed it didn’t work out. Is there a reason why your stay on our hosting was short? Share a little with us if you get some time please. Thanks so much. :)
