Detailed registration information required on our site?

  Hi… we’ve just started a parked WordPress site and are interested in collecting some more detailed biographical registration information as people register on our site. Some of the content on the site might, very occasionally, become a bit contentious. We’d like to have the site record a name address, age and some occupational data etc and, IMPORTANTLY, an originating IP address as people register to allow back-tracking the originating computer network of content which may be defamatory or tortious etc… Can WordPress offer a registration that requires a detailed registration similar to what some Forums or Discussion Boards (PHPBB or MyBB) do?

  Depends what’s the URL, are you WordPress.com or WordPress.org self hosted (if the latter please go to http://WordPress.org/support for assistance)
