details of profile not displayed on my main blog page.

Hi,
i have added details about my profile on my blog but it does not seems to reflect on my main web page although there is the widget- authors. When I pressed on the icon. no details appears. I am currently using the theme Quentin by Mike Purdy, do it not allow display of profile?
Please advice.

The Profile details appear virtually no-where that I can see. Your personal tagline DOES appear when you click on the author’s widget, though. No details will appear when you click the author widget if you haven’t yet written any posts (as distinct from pages).

Your user profile is only displayed in the sidebar of the some themes; and in that, it is entirely theme-specific. You cannot force your blog to display the biographical information (I assume this is what everyone is referring to; if not, please advise) from your user profile.
But truth be told, there’s an easy fix. Just add a text widget from Design -> Widgets in your dashboard. Paste your profile information into the text widget. Boom. Profile.
You can even add your avatar to the text widget.
