Determining Follower Status, and receiving notices of blog posts that I follow
-
When I am not logged in, and I go to my latest blog, there is a “follow” button in the lower righthand corner of the page. If I click on it, it tells me there are (this is approximate) 1,200 followers of my blog.
When I go to my blog’s stat page and look at Followers, I see that I only have about 65 followers who have submitted their email addresses.
I don’t know where the 1,200 number is coming from. Also, I have subscribed to several blogs, but I never get an email notifying me of their latest blog.
What do I have to do to insure that I receive an email each time a blog I follow puts out a new post? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1025 of those followers are through Facebook and Twitter. The rest are wither following you via the WordPress.com Reader or via direct email updates.
Also, I have subscribed to several blogs, but I never get an email notifying me of their latest blog.
Are you signed up to follow them through the reader or do you have email notifications set up?
You can check that here:

I checked, and for most of them, I have email notification set up…BUT I’m still not receiving those emails.
Also, I noticed that when I choose “daily” for my delivery option, it doesn’t allow me that option for “time.” I set Wednesday, just to see if it makes a difference, but I don’t understand why it doesn’t say “daily” too. -
Can you give me a few examples of sites that I can look into where you are subscribed and have notification set up?
