Determining Who Is A Site Owner

  I’ve been a long-time admin on our site. However, I didn’t create it. I just upgraded to a business account and want to add plugins, but since I’m apparently not the site’s owner, I cannot do so. So how do I find out who is (or was) the site’s owner so that I may contact them and transfer ownership?

  So how do I find out who is (or was) the site’s owner so that I may contact them and transfer ownership?

  We aren’t able to give that information out as part of our privacy policies in place to protect users information.

  What I can do is try to email the owner and ask if they’re willing to transfer ownership to you. They are under no obligation to agree to that though.

  I do see that there’s a “contact us” link which you could use to try and reach the owner of the site as well.
