  Hi, I am trying to access my current online wordpress blog locally. I am very confused with the process. Currently i have desktopserver installed but I don’t think it is going to do what I need it to. I am trying to change the background image of my patch themed blog, along with being able to customize my site however i want. I have been under the impression that wordpress was only online, but it seems we can customize everything via local server? How can I copy what is online (thiiinc.info) to my local pc so that I can customize and then port back.

  Hello,

  DesktopServer can only be used with the standalone WordPress software to work and develop locally.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
