Developer not responding to password reset. I am owner and cant log in to my word press admin!!

A Word press site was set up for me 7 years ago with an admin email that was not mine but the developers. Password not working and he is not in business anymore…. I need someone to help me.

Which site are you trying to gain access to? Please share the URL.
Have you tried to reset the password to the account?
If you aren’t successful with that option we will need some proof of ownership submitted via the account recovery form. That will be the only way to recover the account.

Can you tell us the URL of the website in question?
It sounds like you’re talking about a standalone WordPress installation (also known as WordPress.org).
If your site is using the open source WordPress software you can get help on the WordPress.org forums: https://wordpress.org/support where they may have more information about the type of issue you are having. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register on that page.
To clarify, the support forum here assists users of WordPress.com hosted sites. Standalone WordPress (org) and WordPress.com (where we are) are different entities with separate documentation and support forums. For more information about the differences: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
With your website’s URL we will be able to let you know which support forum is the one for you.
