Developing for woocommerce

    Hi, is it possible to develop woocommerce API for free?
    I am developer and want to develop some API part, but I can’t create woocommerce application without buying a WordPress.com Pro plan.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    WordPress.com is a hosting provider for the open source WordPress software. To use that software with WooCommerce, hosted on our servers, requires a paid plan, just like you’d need to pay any other hosting provider to host this same software on their servers :)

    But if you’re doing development work you don’t want a live site hosted online with a hosting company. Most people who do development work on WordPress or specific plugins install the software locally on their computer. That doesn’t const anything, as the files will all exist on your computer’s hard drive, rathan than on a server that belongs to a hosting provider.
