Development of Email Newsletters

I’m a complete WordPress newbie. The organisation I work for are looking to use WordPress to create a blog and generate an email newsletter from these blog posts to circulate amongst our staff.
I presume this is possible using plug-ins etc? If so, how well does it work in practice? We don’t want to commit to buying the WordPress for Business if it isn’t going to do what we need it to.
Any help/ guidance is appreciated.

Uploading custom plugins is not supported on WordPress.com but most of the functionalities are already included by default. For more information, refer https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

Have a look at Subscriptions and Newsletters support document. It explains how readers can subscribe to your blog to receive email notifications of all of your posts.

Hello, our newsletter emails look good in Outlook in the browser but in Outlook desktop the width of the newsletter is not retained. They are coming through full width so our content looks poorly formatted as it’s stretched the full screen width. Is there a way we can fix it?
