Device out of memory

  Hi,
  I am trying to upload my latest blog but I keep gettkng ‘Device out of memkry’ message. I am trying to upload ig from a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 using the latest version of the wordpress app that my samsung lets me have. I hsve re-sized my pictures but to no help. Do I have a cap on memory? Do I need to delete items from my media library and if so, will they get deleted from my older blogs? How do I resolve this please?

  With standard uploads you can do up to 1 GB – not sure what advice to give

  Check your media library and see what the used media is and the amount of memory left – your base allocation for total uploads is 3 GB

  If you delete files from your media library then the images / files will be removed from any Posts or Pages they appear in

  You can look around the Android support site: http://android.wordpress.org/

  If you are using a PC – you can check your Media usage

  dashboard >> Media
  or
  Dashboard >> Home >> in your “At a Glance” box if you have that showing – not a clue how to do it with an App – should be there – but I was not able to find it on my phone

  Ok, thanks. So I am using 7% of my allowance. Any other ideas why it’s not working?!

  Look over in the Android forum – I think I saw a comment about upload issues, see if that sounds like your trouble

  Same issue here, using a Nexus running android with the lateast version of the app. Seems like a common problem. Hope the WordPress folks take a look at it when they get back from their vacation on Thursday. It’s making updating the blog a pain in the ass.
