Do you want a single ppt slide? You can upload a ppt file for your visitors .
If you want to show a single slide then export the file as a graphic (jpg, png etc) then insert the graphic as a picture in your Post – I am guessing that you want to do before and after, or this is what not to do.
You can also insert a ppt with Slide Share and Scribd (they convert the ppt to a PDF) they have short code that lets you view the presentation on your blog – but if you step in items on your PPT then you will loose a bit in translation unless you build a video –

You can upload a powerpoint .ppsx doc to a post, but it won’t appear as an image. It will be a link to the document.
Would taking a screenshot accomplish what you want?

Great – thanks – i think exporting the file as a graphic (jpg) is what i was seeking. Thanks for the help

Both Open Office Presentation and M/S PowerPoint can export individual slides in several formats – I have had good luck with the individual slide export for both instructor documentation and putting individual slides on my site as a lead in picture on a Post
