  Hey, I want the posts to be grouped by days for the current month and then archived by months for the months that passed away already. I know it’s possible but I forgot where that option was in the dashboard. Does anyone know?

  Write > Page (not post, but Page) > Right side is option for “Page Template” – Choose Archives > Publish

  This I think might give you what you want. I have this on my blog and this is how I achieved it. It will display differently for different themes, and all themes might not have this option available.

  Presentation > Widgets > Archives
