Did domain mapping backwards! Help

    So instead of setting the nameservers at godaddy.com and then paying the 13$ to map. I paid the 13$ then set my nameservers. Now I don’t get the option to map my domain name. How can I get help on this issue? WordPress does not seem to give you any direct contact email or help.

    What should I do?

    I think I’ve done the same thing as fellspoint. Could also use similar advice!

    I’ve now pointed my nameservers back to my hosting site and want to cancel my domain mapping and receive the refund (I only paid for it this morning). Not sure which option to click as most say you’ll lose your domain forever or just tell you to change the nameservers WITHOUT offering a refund button beyond it!

    Have we stumbled across the same problem?

    I’m trying something similar. Went to the store and paid the $18 ($13+$5) to have Automatic set up a new url (www.newurl.com) and have that mapped automatically to my existing wordpress blog (www.existingblog.wordpress.com).

    (I) Set it up yesterday but it doesn’t seem to be working.(yet)

    How long does it take to activate this… since we only have 2 days to cancel if not satisfied. ?

    I hope I’m not being impatient here. Maybe it’s 2 days to activate ?

    fellspoint, you should be able to just add your desired domain at Store -> Domains in your blogs Dashboard.

    daisyfitness, that’s not the same problem. You already canceled and refunded this and the refund left our account today.

    bob515t, that is also not the same problem. I have no history of transactions on your account. Did you receive a receipt from us?

    To all future participants in this thread, please start your own thread, unless your problem is exactly the same as fellspoint’s.

    (when I copied it it did not replicate the creditcard info but it is an amex card.

    Hopefully my screen cut and paste gives you enough info to complete the transaction.

    Even though I’m relatively new to wordpress, I think I followed the directions (correctly).

    That’s not a receipt, it’s the screen before you submit your credit card payment.

    That’s why the domain wasn’t registered and there are no transactions on your account, because you never submitted the purchase.
