Did I create a website or a blog site?

  I wanted to create a website , and I followed the 5-steps , but it seems its a blog I created.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. A blog is a website, but a specific type of website built around dynamic content (posts) rather than static pages. WordPress.com is primarily a blogging platform, but you can also build a regular static website if that’s what you prefer. See here for more information:
