I see you guys are pouting, you didn’t like to hear me saying nothing is simple about using your interface, unlike what you advertise…. :) You should know that flattery alone won’t take you very far. You don’t have to provide assistance if you are the vengeful kind….. But this behavior is slightly immature.

I had established a communication with Shawna but she hasn’t answer any of my messages in the last three weeks, after I told her that though you keep advertising that making a website with wordpress.com is easy, I found it was extremely complicated and that there was a lack of quality video tutorials online made by the company itself……
I had to learn a bit of programming!
It was my first web page, the process was rather exasperating, I learned a lot, I want to keep working on it, I know the worst is behind me… PEACE!

I am using the Tonal theme
1- I would like to alter the menu-block of my homepage: I learned a bit about CSS programming, I tried to change its colour but I can’t make the change permanent. I would like to know how to change its size, or replace it with and image as well, right now it is hardly visible….
I used firebug to identify the code for this item but I have a hard time to re-manipulate it. Do you know a good reference I could study to learn useful basics of CSS programming – most of the explanation found in your forums are confusing to me – I’m just a drawing artist.
2 – How can I change the font colour of my pages titles (ex: Spasms) without affecting the font colour of the main title – Francis Miller Films?Thank you for your assistance

I believe you’re referring to the icon shown here:
Is that correct? If so, you can use the following CSS to manipulate the appearance:
div#menu-nav.button-block { background-color: #000; color: #fff; }Can you give that a try and let me know if it works for you?
