Did I lose the content of the blog?

    Hey,
    It seems that I forgot to pay my subscription for prazburg.com (domain plus hosting). Did I lose the content of the blog? Will I get it back if I renew the subscription? Can I somehow export the content on the free prazburg.wordpress.com without renewing?

    Hi there,

    We never remove your content unless you specifically delete it. It’s still here at the free URL:
    http://prazburg.wordpress.com/

    You are still within the grace period to renew your domain at the regular cost, however. After two more days, it goes into redemption at which point, it would be significantly more expensive to get it back (there’s an $80 fee), so I recommend renewing it here ASAP:

    I renewed it. Somehow, it still doesn’t show the old content, nor the theme, but I guess, I hope, it’s because it takes a while to come back to it.

    Hi there – Ah, I see. What had happened was that your domain is registered here with us at WordPress.com and you have an old free blog with us that’s empty.

    But you’re currently using a WordPress site that’s hosted with GTS Czech s.r.o. Your domain is pointed to their hosting from here. So when your domain expired with us, it stopped pointing to your site and pointed back here to WordPress.com, to your old empty free site.

    I see it’s pointed back to your active site now.

    In future, the thing to know is that your content and your theme are all with GTS Czech s.r.o. and your domain itself is with us. Does that clear things up?
