Did I miss something?

  Hi there. I came in earlier to send a support mail in with info about someone who cannot seem to get out of the spam bin. I was too early since the hours were posted as 8-4 PST.

  I’ve come back now, at 8:24 PST/10:24 CST and find this message:

  Support Temporarily Closed
  Support is currently closed.
  Normal support hours are Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM Pacific Time

  I searched for “holiday hours” and “hours for new years” but didn’t get anything helpful.

  Did I miss an announcement? If anyone knows anything, I’d appreciate it. I’d like to come back when they’re open then, just looking for a heads up about when that will be.

  As of today, support hours are supposedly back to normal. Since it is only 8:32am Pacific Time right now, support will not be open officially for another 30 minutes. There had been a “sticky post” in the yellow section at the top of the forum about support hours during the holidays.

  Ok, I’m still confused. If they’re back to regular hours today, and regular hours are posted as 8-4 PST, then if it’s 8:32 am, why is it another 30 minutes until they will be open?

  Do the regular hours start at 9 and not 8? The message at support (I copy/pasted into the post) list 8-4.

  I’m not complaining, I’ll come back for sure, just want to get it straight. This shole global thing and dealing with different people all over the world can really mess with your head. LOL.

  Oops, sorry, not enough coffee I guess. You’re right, they should be open. I’m now as confused as you are. Best I can suggest is to keep checking back.

  Ok.. now I feel better for not being the only one. ;-)

  I thought maybe there was a notice somewhere that I missed. Oddly.. I’m un-tech-savvy enough to have thought it would be on some automatically timed thingy (see how tech I am.. I said thingy) and once it hit 8 it would be available kind of like how our timed posts just go up when the clock strikes the right hour.

  I did notice, and sent in my info.

  I’ll mark this resolved as soon as I find out if the time it opens is actually 8am PST or 9am PST!
