Did I over-buy?

    Hi! I purchased my domain name through Go Daddy, host through WordPress, and now I’m looking to get the ProPhoto plug-in. Could I have purchase the plug-in without spending $150 for Word Press? It looks like it comes free when you purchase ProPhoto. Please let me know! Thank you!

    Hi there,

    Plugins cannot be used on WordPress.com at all, and I don’t see any GoDaddy domains connected here to your WordPress.com account.

    Are you perhaps using the self-hosted version of WordPress that is installed with GoDaddy? If so, GoDaddy is hosting you, not WordPress. WordPress only refers to the software with which your site is built.

    We can’t help with that version of WordPress in this forum, so if you’re having trouble installing your plugin, please ask in the self-hosted forums instead:
