Did My Domain Transfer Go Through?

    I recently initiated a domain transfer from Go Daddy to WordPress. It doesn’t look to me like it has worked, yet. What more do I need to check or do?

    Hi there!

    We’re currently waiting for GoDaddy, your current domain provider, to authorize the transfer of your domain. To proceed, you’ll need to log into your GoDaddy account and complete any required confirmation steps.

    Please note that while you can transfer a domain without a paid plan, in order to use it as your primary domain, you’ll need a paid plan. Otherwise, your domain will redirect to your free *.wordpress.com URL.

    If you decide to upgrade to a paid plan, we can refund you the cost of the domain transfer ($19), as it would have been included in the first year of your paid plan. Please don’t cancel the upgrade yourself, as it will also cancel the domain, which you don’t want.
