Did not put the "www" when mapping domain
-
When I mapped my domain, I left off the www at the beginning. I don’t know how to change it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I changed the DNS and it worked for a little while, now when I try to access my site it adds too many “www”s. Yes, it shows http://www.www.tessera-games.com now and is broken.

Every time you change the DNS your site goes into a resettling mode that can last up to 72 hours. Don’t do that. Don’t use WWW, it is antiquated and a third of web users cannot see addresses that start with www. Just use the whatever.com address and if someone types www in the front it will work anyway.

Just to make myself clear: when I changed my DNS, I was only changing it to the WordPress DNS, as per the instructions (NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, etc). That was the only change I’ve done. It is strange that it worked for a couple hours, and now all of a sudden it has the double “www” at the beginning.

…and just like that, it has reverted back to the original tessera-games.com address, and is working. Maybe I was just impatient with how long it would take the domain mapping to make or something. Thanks for the reply though!

Now there’s 3 “www”s in front. And I’m not doing anything except customizing my theme.
This is getting ridiculous.
