Did not receive domain cancellation email
-
I cancelled my domain about three hours ago and have yet to receive an email with a cancellation link as per the Domain Cancellation support page.
‘Important note: The cancellation link sent to your the email address in your account is only valid for 24 hours. If you click and see an error, please contact us.’ Quoted from domain cancellation support page https://en.support.wordpress.com/cancel-domain/
On that same page it says ‘Warning: after cancellation, there is no guarantee the domain will become available to register somewhere else, and you may not be able to get it back.’ I understood this when I cancelled the domain. However, I’m wondering what the likelihood of the domain becoming available again is.
In summary:
Why didn’t I get the cancellation email?
Will I be able to access this domain again? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ll tag this for staff attention. As for the domain being available again, sometimes they will be, other times they won’t. I’m not sure if there’s really any way to tell whether it will be or not, but I suspect staff can provide more insight into this as well.

I’m seeing that as having been canceled.
I have processed that refund for you. Please be aware that it can take up to 7-10 business days for refunds to show up on your statement.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

I ended up upgrading my plan and speaking to a wordpress employee as I didn’t want to lose my domain. The employee was very helpful and will hopefully be getting my domain back for me. Thanks for your help.
