Did posting options recently change?

    Hi there, I just noticed a feature that I had not noticed before in WordPress. When trying to post a blog, it asks if you want to just publish or publish and email. Is this a recent update? I was under the understanding that subscribers automatically received our email if they subscribed directly?

    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes
