Did the publish-page bug ever get fixed?

  Hi, I’m trying to publish a page. I have embedded a link to my page in one of my sidebar widgets. When I am logged-in, I can link to the page from my widget. When I click the link everything looks fine. However, when I log out, the link doesn’t work. I get a “Sorry, that page could not be found” message.

  I know there’s been discussion on this, but all the discussion happened a few months ago. I did try the fix that a Key Member recommended (Manage -> Edit -> Save), but that did not work either.

  Where is the link that doesn’t work?

  Edit Page > Status >
  If you check Published and click Publish, what happens?
