Did WordPress.com system update cause Windows Live Writer malfunction ?

  Just recently about 3 days ago, I found that Windows Live Writer (WLW) is behaving erratically. Publishing to WordPress.com cause error and crash the program. Now, I even find that deleting post with WLW no longer works at all.

  Did anyone experience the same symptoms or is it just me ?
  Otherwise, did WordPress.com update its system that might cause errors to blog editors.

  Given that blog editors use WordPress’s API call to retrieve info, will other editors be affected too ?

  I use Windows Live Writer and my Thursday night post, published at approximately 11pm CST 3/6/08 via WLW, went through as normal; nothing unusual. Of course, that may have been prior to when you saw the issues first occur.

  I’ll post an update in this thread if I experience any difficulties with my upcoming blog posts.

  Don’t know if this is WLW related, though. Some people were reporting earlier that they had problems with WLW. A forum search should pull up those threads with their suggestions.
