Did you change something? Help!

  When I go to “add a post” the little icons for italic, bold, rag right, center, etc, no longer display, and when I import type from elsewhere with cut-and-paste, it eliminates paragraphs and runs it all as a single block. And if I try to add jpegs, it puts them all at the top and not in the copy. Did you change something in the past few days? Can you help me. It is the same whether I use Safari (my usual browser) or Firefox. I have had no trouble before two days ago.

  Hi Richard,

  There has been an update within our editor which you can read about here:

  Introducing Smoother Editing and New Playlists

  This essentially changes the copy/paste from Word-like processors. It creates very messy HTML which makes it difficult for formatting after. With this current update, text pasted from Microsoft Word gets automatically stripped of any code, so that you don’t encounter any formatting issues on your blog.

  I highly recommend drafting up your posts within the editor and this will eliminate the step of copying/pasting.
