Didn’t back website, deleted Jetpack
-
I was trying to design my new site. I hadn’t transferred over the domain or anything yet. Just designing pages to get ready to transfer from pixieset. I’ve been getting a denied access code from bluehost 1020, and was trying to figure out what was going on, when I accidently deleted Jetpack. I had no clue what jetpack was, and it didn’t even give me any warnings on what it was and if I was really sure if I wanted to delete it. Now everything I was working on seems to just have vanished. It says my site doesn’t exist. I haven’t transferred the domain name yet. How did everything vanish so easily without any warnings?
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m not sure. It never went live, so it just had a temporary url I suppose? So it’s nothing that I could memorize. I was still designing it.

Hi there,
Deleting Jetpack just disconnected your site from your WordPress.com account.
But your site itself should still be safe and sound on Bluehost’s servers. Their support will be able to help you regain access to the WP-Admin dashboard, and once you’re logged in, you should also be able to reconnect Jetpack to get the site added back to your WordPress.com account if you want.

That’s the thing, the site never went live. I never switched over the Domaine. I was still building up the pages when jetpack got deleted. I hadn’t launched it yet.

Hello there,
Can you tell us the URL of the domain you’re looking to use please?
Also, can you confirm, are you looking for this domain to show what’s seen at: kwetzlich.wordpress.com?
This will help to determine next steps.

No, that’s not the domain. My website on pixieset is still up, because the website I was building to transfer the domain was still under construction. The reason why kwetzlich.wordpress is up, is because it deleted my website (the website that never went live. I was still building the pages. I never transfered my domain yet, so the ‘website’ that I was building was just a bunch of pages. Nothing connected yet. So it’s as if I were building kwetzlich.wordpress.com pages, so that way I could transfer my pixieset website over. Does that make sense? I hardly know what I’m talking about. All I know is all the pages I was building for my ‘to be’ website, all got deleted.

You weren’t building your site on our servers. You were just building it using our tools, through Jetpack, but the pages you created were created at your hosting provider, Bluehost, and they should still be there. You didn’t delete the site, you just disconnected it from your WordPress.com account.
If your site at Bluehost wasn’t launched yet, you should be able to access it via the staging domain that Bluehost provided you when you installed WordPress with them. Based on our logs that address, under which you originally connected Jetpack, is box2074.temp.domains/~throuhw7/
If you need any help accessing that, Bluehost support should be able to help you with this, so please contact them directly as I suggested above.
