Didn't get refund

    It’s been over 7 days now and I still haven’t gotten my refund from the upgrade I purchased and cancelled.

    If you proceeded your cancellation successfully, it usually takes 1-2 weeks for a refund to process and shows on your statement. Please kindly wait patiently.

    Just in case, I tagged this thread so as that staffs can take a look at your status of the refund.

    Refunds typically take about 10 business days (or in some cases to statement cycles) to appear in your account, but that depends entirely on your bank. Some banks take longer to process refunds than others.

    But I’ve checked your account and your refund has definitely been issued. I also noticed the domain portions of your plans weren’t refunded, even though you still cancelled within the refund period of the domains, so I’ve gone ahead and processed refunds for those as well.

    Yes, I did get a refund of $286 but I still haven’t gotten the refund for the first upgrade of $273. Now, I’ll have to check my statement again in the next few days because you processed the refund for the domain portions but if you could please look over all my transactions. If it helps, here is more detailed description:

    While trying to create a blog on WordPress, I upgraded the plan so that I could try and upload a customized theme I had purchased from a third party. However, I was having a lot of trouble (not just with the theme) and just decided to cancel it and get a refund that night. Although I made a purchase of $299, in the email notification, it stated that I was getting back $273. Again, this is for the first upgrade for the site aclotheserlookblog.wordpress.com.

    A few days later, I decided to try creating a site once again and did another upgrade under a different web address since I completely deleted the first one. After having trouble and a lot of frustration, I decided to cancel it and get a refund once again. This time in the email notification, it stated that I was getting back $286 which I have and see in my bank statement. This was for the second/new website aclotheserlooksite.wordpress.com.

    So again, I am still missing my refund for the first upgrade. If needed, I can forward the emails to you.

  • We’ve issued refunds for both your payments on 21 May, as well as your payment on 25 May. I also refunded the domain costs that weren’t included in the original refunds yesterday.

    If you haven’t received the earlier refunds yet, it’s because your bank or credit card company must still be processing them. I’d have expected the refunds issued on the same day to reflect in your account on the same day, but I’ve never known banks to be very consistent in this kind of thing. There’s nothing we can do about it from our end, however.

    You’ll please need to follow up with your bank if refunds that should be showing are not showing yet. You can use the transaction ID from our payment provider which appears in the receipts as a reference.
