DIDN'T GOT MY REFUND

    On September 1st I applied for the refund of my plan, but today (15th) I still don’t have any news yet (despite of having received the cancellation email from WordPress).

    Please help!

    Just to be sure, did you remember to reply to the cancellation confirmation email?

    Credit card payments can take up to 1-2 billing cycles to refund, and if you are living outside of the U.S. it can take longer as well.

    Typically refunds take about ten days to reach you. International refunds can take longer. We’ve processed a €199.00 refund as requested. My suggestion is to contact your financial party to inquire with them as to when they are going to release that money to you.

    Dear staffs,

    It’s been more than a month since I applied for the refund and after contacting my financial party they say they have no record of any refunds made by WordPress or anything with that amount.

    I demand to recover my money as soon as possible since this is intolerable.

    The refund was processed on September 1st and the funds are released to the source that you used for payment originally.

    It can’t be, as I haven’t received anything and checked it several times with my bank. Also, when I go to the plans section, I am not able to choose other than the free one.

    Something is wrong, but I’d like to have my money back.

  • We’d love to give you your money back, but we don’t have it any more. The refund was processed on 1 September, as Liz said above. You can view a receipt for the refund with a transaction ID from our payment processor here:

    Please provide that transaction reference to your bank and ask them to follow up with Stripe directly about this.

    Also, when I go to the plans section, I am not able to choose other than the free one.

    That is because you were using plugins on your site. If you want to keep using the site on a different plan, we need to revert the site back to how it was before you installed a plugin. It would have been best to do this before you cancelled your business plan, but I can help you revert it now.

    There is a risk of losing content during this process, so please confirm if you want me to do this, and also confirm whether you’ve added any new content to your site since you first upgraded to Business and installed a plugin.
