didn't receive a confirmation email for deleting my blog

  2 days ago I deleted my blog and I got a message that I have to wait for a confirmation email from wordpress containing a link which I will have to follow in order for my blog to be permanently deleted. However, this email never came and my blog still exists. When will the email arrive? How can I make sure that my blog will be permanently deleted?

  swimingreece, I can delete http://swimingreece.wordpress.com/ for you, but please not that neither the blog nor its name can ever be used again. Would you like me to proceed?

  macmanx, do you mean that I will not be able to use the same name or create the same blog again just at WordPress or elsewhere too?

  Just at WordPress.com. swimingreece.wordpress.com will cease to exist and swimingreece.wordpress.com can never be registered again.
